The seventh edition of the seminar of PPBio Amazônia Oriental – Time to integrate the objectives of dissemination of the results obtained over the past few years, in addition to the evaluation of the program as a whole. During the seminar will be held the strategic planning of program and integration with related programs.
In addition will be focus of the seminar:
• Integrating studies in wetlands, including the Pantanal Mato-grossense; the floodplain amazonica and the coastal region of the Brazilian Amazon;
• Cooperate with the platform "Intergovernmental Platform on Biodiversity & Ecosystem Services-IPBES";
• Seek new forms of articulation by the environmental public sector (MMA, IBAMA, ICMBio and Semes State). Special focus to monitoring of biodiversity and management of protected areas;
• Seek new strategies to promote the research of the program.
